My Sim Stuck on Vacation and won't go to work.

One of my sims is stuck on vacation and will not go to work. And also the little window that shows the sim near the right hand bottom that you click to center on her shows her being at work yet she is obviously at home. There is no way to change this. Can you guys help me so that she can go to work and get promotions?

Traveling to another lot and back should solve it.
