So when I go to Manage worlds or when I press the play button only my recently played sim household will show up yet my other 5 households won’t. Does someone know a resolution??

did you maybe by accident start a new save game ?
Try the load button on the main menu and check if you have other save games that contains your other families
If you do, you can save the new family to the library and then place them in your old save game and then you should have all of them.
