Mouse problems Sims 4

I just bought the Sims 4. The complete game and my mouse does not show up anywhere! I can't click on anything. I once got to create a sim but I can't get my mouse to click on the tiny check mark. I am so upset I was really looking forward to playing this game. Please help. I tried pressing tab like I was told but that did not work. I have a touch pad and a mouse and they both do not show up.

I had this problem too. My mouse was on low-battery, but I think the game may just be really sensitive with the mouse.

when creating a sim , my mouse isn't a pointer its on spin the sim mode. and it won't go off

Howd you do it cuz my mouse works when i play the demo but it doesnt work when i play the game and im 0laying this on a lap top so yeah anf a really old one but i hve windows 10 on it i really wanna play anf i dnt wanna hve bought this game for nothing

DId you turn off mouse trails or try windowed mode ?

For me my mouse dose not move at all but I can see it. it up sets me because ugh don't let me start.

does it work in windowed mode ? You can start the game in windowed mode like this: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/playing-the-sims-4-in-windowed-mode/

Have you tried unplugging and replugging the mouse ? Check for new drivers ? Tried a different mouse ?
