Mods issue, in game but not working

um hi, first time posting, also sorry if this specific problem has been seen and solved before, i've googled it and searched it but found nothing

My mods are showing up in the game list for Sims 4, so the game is acknowledging their pre... being there, but the content for said mods are NOT in the game, if anyone can help me, that'd be great

A lot of Mods and CC were broken and need to be updated by their authors.

The mod in question adds specific paintings to the game, it has four diffrent packages for the diffrent types of paintings, and only one doesn't work, so i don't think thats the problem, thanks thou jpkarlsen
