excuse me, where should we put the activation.dll file?
@Kymberleehelena wrote:Hi guys! Sorry if I'm a bit late, I've been having this same problem myself. I finally managed to get the game running even after the missing Core/Activation.dll message popped up.
First, I downloaded the Activation.dll from https://www.dropbox.com/s/6vcb7qhvpby378r/Activation.dll?dl=0
Next, I went to the Core file and Inserted the Activation.dll file from Dropbox and now the game runs!
The only problem I have is whenever I run the game it is in very high contrast. I will try to figure that out and post how I did it if anyone else has this problem, too.
**Edit: To fix the high contrast problem I went to Options Menu/Game Options - and changed the Fullscreen to Windowed Fullscreen.

hi ! I had the same problem as yours before. All you have to do is open the game in your intsallation folder and not on the shortcut. Just open The,Sims.4.launcher.exe.

• download the game via origin, it`ll check release date and block the play button..
• exit from origin.. dont even let it run on background..
• download and install the program spotflux.. you`ll find it on spotflux.com..
• run spotflux, it`ll open a welcome page in your browser..
• now open origin.. you`ll be in offline mode and bingo! Sims play button is now activated
• open the game and then exit spotflux, connect to origin network
