Missing Core/Activation.dll?

Thank you for responding.  I am the administrator on my PC and I ended up disabling my internet security suite in order to get the download to complete.  Code injections are a very common way to distribute a virus or malware, so my computer was blocking that particular feature of your install package.  I had to create a rule to allow code injections within your application to get the install to complete and to get the game to run.

@Elisa608 I'm not sure what you mean. Have you tried running the packages linked on this page?

If you have issues, check that your security software isn't blocking the install.

Hi Eriksen_gamer03,

Try the following:

1. Manually uninstall the Origin client 
2. Reinstall origin from www.origin.com

My sims wont start. It keeps saying core/activation.dll is missing from you computer . Try reinstalling ,I did like 10 times . How do I get it.

@NikkiJose This issue most likely is caused by your antivirus blocking the activation. Sometimes starting the game as administrator may let the activation continue.
