[Mac] Sims Glitched Body [ Edited ]

Im having this problem on My Sims 3 computer game for Mac. 

everytime I create a new sim, The body of the sim (except the hair) seems to disappear but is outlined with small glitch bits and I can't see what clothes Im putting on my sim or anything. I keep refreshing it and deleting Characters but it wont go away. I ended up playing with a glitched sim and when I began to play, the body was fine again but the hair then disappeared on play mode just like the body did.  I have no idea what is going on pleasehelpme.

Do you use custom content?

Do you have any other graphical issues other than with the sims themselves?
