MY SIMS3 WONT PLAY AND IM LOGGED IN AND EVERY THING

SOS,so last week i got sims 3 and it took two days to download into origin and when it said "download 2/2 complete: i was so pumped and i went to press play in origin but normaly when you put your cursor over it changes color or something but mine just stayed pale and didnt react. But i pressed it anyways BUT IT STILL DIDNT REACT!!! so i took the disc out and put it in again and it didnt do anything. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
