Lost progress after editing restaurant employee outfits

So I was trying to edit the employee outfits and after I clicked "done" it didn't change the outfits. I tried again and it changed chef outfits but I kept trying to edit the waiter and host outifts but they didn't change. Then I noticed I only had one chef (I had recently hired a second chef and no, they didn't quit...) then I also noticed I only had 3 stars (I had 4 stars before) and some furniture was also gone. 

So I realised I had lost some game progress, I think after using the create a sim. I didn't quit the game at any point, but luckily I do save it quite fequently for this exact reason... Still lost annoyingly much since I had 4 stars already...

How is this possible? Has anyone else had the same problem?

@PastelGoddess811 Some people seem to have luck doing it while they not own the restaurant/vet clinic

There's a known issues for vet outfits. Maybe it's affecting restaurants now too.

I can test on Monday if I can duplicate for restaurants too.
