Lost interactions since cats and dogs

I installed cats and dogs today and the option to add birthday candles to a cake has disappeared and so has the option to take a vacation day. Has anyone else has these issues? Is there a fix?

These options still work for me.
Are you using any mods in your game? Try to remove them and see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game, or disable them in-game.
Often after a patch there are mods that stop working, always make sure to update your mods when you update your game. Check this list out for some mods that were broken in the latest patch
