Lost game on Sims 4

Hello, I played Sims 4 last night for 8 hours and saved it, logged on this morning and my game isn't there? I don't know if I have overridden something on my laptop as my saved documents backed up from 2012 when I saved something from word. The saved game isn't showing up on my Sims 4 folder, so I don't know how to get it back? Origin says on my sims game that I played for 8 hours, but isn't showing the games? Please help.

@coral911  Does your computer run Windows or macOS?  Do you happen to have OneDrive (Windows) or iCloud set to sync the contents of Documents to cloud storage?  If so, that may be where your save went.  If you need help looking for it, let us know.

Hey, I've actually sorted it, OneDrive replaced my files when it upgraded so had to go into the recycle bin and recover everything, but thank you! x
