Log in problems in launcher

I recently store purchased the Sims 3 Dragon Valley, I have registered the code on the website, but because I can't log in in the launcher I can't download the content. Is there a way to bypass logging in in the launcher? I am able to log in in both Origin and on the website though.

 

The login problem is that it never logs me in and the log in box pops back up as soon as I have entered my email and password

What is the message?

 

is it this  "Unable to connect with Origin".

It doesn't give me any message, it just refuses to log in. As if my password is incorrect, but as I've mentioned I can log in on the website and in Origin so it can't be wrong

Try clearing your IE Browser cache.

There's also a file in documents\electronicarts\thesims3\downloads that has your email address as file name. Delete that.

 

You can download DV through the website though. There's no actual need to login into the game unless you wanna talk to friends and do achievements.

When I try to download it from the website a pop-up box asks me to log in. When I select "cancel" the download of my content does not start

Contact a Customer Support game advisor so they can take a look at your account to find out what's going on

  3. Describe your issue with a few words
  4. Select Product: The Sims 3
  5. Select Category: Billing/Purchasing or Account Management
  6. Select Platform: PC
  7. Click Find solution
  8. Scroll down and click I still need help
  9. Click Chat Now to chat with a Game Advisor
