Loading Screen Turns White and Becomes Unresponsive

First, no, I don't have mods.

Whenever I go to load Sims 4 on my PC, it makes it through the first few logos of the loading screen, and then freezes. The screen turns white and becomes completely unresponsive. I can only shut it down by ending its task in the Task Manager. My husband has checked my drivers, and everything is up to date. He even used the "Repair" option on Origin. Nothing seems to work

We did just recently delete EVERYTHING and redownload everything (including Origin) to fix a completely different issue. But the game was not experiencing this issue immediately after that.
