I get an error saying “license limit reached” everytime I try to launch my new sims 3 games from origin. This isn’t installed anywhere else so I’m not sure what the cause could be. Clean uninstalling and reinstalling the games didn’t help.

@oj9876 EA customer support should be able to reset the number of licenses to zero. There's unfortunately nothing you can do on your end.
