Re: Laptop requirements

@Starlyice  A Ryzen 3 and its integrated chip should definitely run Sims 4, although perhaps only on low-medium settings at best.  The other hardware matters too: while 4 GB RAM is technically sufficient, 8 GB would be better, and a 128 GB hard drive may not be nearly enough space.

If you'd like to know more about how a particular computer might be expected to run Sims 4, please link its product page.  If you're looking to buy something and would like to know what other options are out there, feel free to ask, and list your budget and country as well.

Thanks for responding I was considering this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RF1XD36/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_ebV5FbRM6YWX4 And also this one. https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-14-14-HD-Intel-Core-i5-1035G1-Intel-UHD-Graphics-8GB-SDRAM-256GB-SSD-N...

I have looked into gaming laptops but they’re quite expensive so I was hoping one of these would work.

Re: Laptop requirements

@Starlyice  Gaming laptops can certainly be expensive, although I often see entry-level options around $650.  But even if you don't want to spend that much money, you could still do better than the laptops you've linked.  These two are both $400 and have better specs: a stronger processor with a faster graphics chip, more memory and storage than the first option you linked.

Since they have the same hardware, the "better" option would be whichever one you liked more.

As an option in between these two and a real gaming laptop, this one is $550 new, with some cheaper open-box options.  It has a dedicated graphics card that's almost twice as fast in gaming as the chip in the others, although it's still significantly slower than a proper gaming graphics card.  Its processor is also somewhat stronger, although that likely won't make a difference to Sims 4, since the limiting factor will be the graphics card.
