Laptop has no cd drive

Hi all,
I just ordered a laptop today, then realized that it has no cd/DVD drive. Is there a way to install the sims 4 without a cd/DVD drive? If not, can I use a friend's external optical drive to install the game on my laptop? Thanks for the help!

You can get the download version throuh Origin. If you plan on getting the disc, you can redeem your code and then get the download one for free.
