January 13 Update- keeps implying to update when I have [ Edited ]

I've been having a problem with the new patch/update that came out today. At first, it said that the update failed when it reached 100%, so I looked up how to solve that and I did. Now, it has completed the update. So I click to play the game, and it says that the update is mandatory to play and I can't play until I download it. Everytime it downloads it starts at 100% and takes only a couple seconds to finish. Then it gives me the notification: "The Sims 4 ready to play!". But it still tells me that it needs to update when it already has. Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Hey  , how do you fix the failing issue? It's happening for me , it gets to 100% , says its finalizing then it says it failed and goes to 95% ????

Try repairing the game. I had this problem and repair worked for me.
