Items/Simoleans disappearing, relationship progress not saving...

Across multiple characters, I've tested this. I run no other mods or content aside from the main game. When my character crosses a load screen (from house to bar, park to house, etc...) whatever happened isn't being saved. Through the world manager, items I place or houses I build will save, but in the actual game and the build menu, nothing is staying. I can place a few light fixtures, spend the money, and when I leave the house and return, the lights are gone, and so is the money. With Sim relationships, if my Sim goes out somewhere and makes a new friend, when we go somewhere else, all relationship progress has been lost and I have to reintroduce myself. Inventory items are being removed at instance switch, and items in the refrigerator do not stay. Money earned from jobs does not save. You get the idea. Known bug, or something on my side? One last issue: I'm getting error code 526 when attempting to save. The only possible way to save is by saving as I go to manage worlds or leave the game. Some of the work arounds are tolerable, but when money goes missing and items can't be placed - it's rather unplayable. Hopefully I can figure out something before my refund window closes, because I'm still considering it.

You've posted in the bug thread, right ? Unfortunatley, I don't have any suggestions to you at this point.

Maybe new user folder or even reinstalling the game.
