It says that the product code is already in use when I want to download it.

Hi,

I bought Sims 4 from a friend and as I went to download it through Origin, it said that the product code was already in use and It won't let me download the game. This is incredibly frustrating and I was wondering if there was a way around it?

@megan-t286 Once a code is used that code is locked to the account that was in use when the code was accepted. The code can only be entered that one time. You need to create your own account and purchase the code. The discs are generic and only used to install the game. The discs are not needed to play the game. The code is used to register the game to your account. After that the code is locked to that account.
