Issues saving my game!

I installed the newest software for my The Sims 3 and ever since there has been an issue with saving my game.

I moved in new Sims into a new house on a new game into the new town - Twinbrook.

After building my home I tried to save it and it came up that my Sims were travelling, so I couldn't save it or access the edit town mode.

I have the expansions packs: Ambitions, and Seasons.

HELP!
