How do I change the language of my Sims 4 game from Polish to English?

You have to contact EA support, preferably Live Chat:

2.Click on the orange NEXT button
3.Select a platform
4.Click on the orange NEXT button
5.Select a topic and describe your problem in a few words
6.Click on the orange NEXT button
7.Click Chat Now to chat with a Game Advisor

Tell him eeeeverything: you bought it while on vacation or whatever reason you were there, it doesn't have the option to change language, ask if he/she could do something. If he/she says no, ask if the specialist team is currently working. If they're not, ask when they will be there to help. My Game Adviser helped me right away by honestly saying he personally can't do anything and that the specialist team has to help. Ask if they can change the game. If your game adviser is being rude and won't help at all, politely end the chat and start a new one (use the same case). Maybe a different Game Adviser will help.

When I do this the game refuses to start. I get an error message. I don't want to play my game in Swedish. The translations are horrible!

@PKCrusader You need to reinstall the game in the langauge you want. Switch origin to english, then install.

my friend bought the sims 4 for me as a gift, but she lives in poland and she bought the dvd version as it was on sale at the time. she gave me the codes so that i could register it on my origin and download here in england, as like i said it was a gift for me.

sadly when i went round to it i found it it is only avaliable in 3 easter european languages.

i was wondering, the origin store keeps offering me to upgrade the game to the digital dluxe version - if i did purchase this upgrade here in the uk on my english origin, would this automatically make the english language avaliable in the game or would it only download the deluxe version suitable for the original eatern european languages?

I'm not sure, I think you should contact Origin or EA by live chat :/ it's really the best option for this stuff :/ the language issue is really specific and I think only EA can help with that :/

I bought a DVD version from Poland.

after I installed Origin I had only 3 langues to choose from: Poland, Russian, Czech

I live in Israel, I went on a vication for 8 days in Poland.

I bought the "Edycja Limitowana" I have no idea which is that.

I bought it from the Arkadia mall, empak store I think. 

The store is located in Poland. 

I want to play this game in English version but it seems to be that there is no

option for that, can someone help me?

You bought the limited edition. Since you bought it in Poland, EA won't be able to do anything. The only option would be to return it :/ I understand that's not gonna be possible for you, but that's the only option :/ you could try to contact EA anyways, but I don't think they'll be able to help. Sorry :/

Hello everyone,

Don't know if this solution was already posted. I also had a language issue after repairing the game through Origin.

I remember quite well setting the language to English when installing the Sims 4 from the DVD. I played for a month in English.

But then I tried to repair it through Origin and it switched to French since my Origin settings were in French.

After many unsuccessful attempts (uninstalling and reinstalling, changing the locale language in regedit), I uninstalled the game through Windows configuration panel. And when I opened Origin, I was offered to download the game.

That's when I was asked in which language I wanted to install the game. So I picked English. Et voilà, I can play again in the language I chose in the first place.

Way to make it easy, EA!
