Is it possible to have multiple saved games?- Sims 4

I just got sims 4 and I remember on the Sims # you used to be able t have multiple games and chose wich one to play, ad when you were playing on one, the other game would stay paused. Is there anything like that now? I know now there are "worlds" are those the same?

You can still have multiple save games.

Just click on the plus sign to start a new game (neu)

I want to start a new game but I still want to save my existing game. is this possible? Can I have two games that I can switch between?
