Inventory Bug in The Sims 4

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 4
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know.
What happens when the bug occurs? It tells me that my Sim isn't there (she is) and will not allow me to access my inventory. I have repaired my game, updated my game, logged out of the game and Origin and back in, moved lots, nothing.. It just keeps happening. I don't use Mods or Custom Content. I'm not sure what else to do and the Sims Forums won't allow me to post in the bug section for whatever reason.
What do you expect to see? My inventory so that I can access the things in it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I downloaded the recent patch/game update for the Sims 4. It started afterward.

@sixdeadqueens Could you please check at the bottom of your screen in the main menu what your actual game version is ? 4 is not a game version I know of.

Is your Sim showing at work or just greyed out ? To post pictures, make sure they're not too big in size. You need to reduce the size with a photo program.
