Interactions missing

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? Current
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have everything but the mascato pack.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I open my game and start to play, but when i try to interact with a sim I am missing the main interaction menus.
What happens when the bug occurs? The latest update.
What do you expect to see? I try to talk to a sim and friendly, mischievous, all the regular sub menus are missing
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

After the latest update, even after removing all mods the game acts like I cannot interact with sims. I can get the pie menu but none of the sub category that are normally there are there. I have uninstalled every mod, re-downloaded them all with the latest update and same issue. I even cleared the games cache.

Hi!

Are you sure you got rid of all of the mods? I had the same issue and I found that the mods that are causing me trouble are the ones from KawaiiStacie, all other were fine like MC Command Center, LittleMsSam, Basemental etc etc.

In case you use the Explore mod from KawaiiStacie she just updated it 3 hours ago and now it should be working again

This is a recipe how to do it when we suspect that our mods are broken. Because removing a broken mod is not enough, you also sometimes need to remove the broken file from the game folder.
Move the mods folder to the desktop.
Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game, also delete all folders with the word "cache" in the name - important!
Fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if a game is working now without mods and CC.
Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK. You can start with UI Cheats Extension mod because it will always be broken after the patch Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
You need to find a culprit and either remove it or replace it with an updated version

Well now im not so sure but it was having an issue even with mods out. I will need to go to kawaii stacys cuz i have her mods and update. That may very well be it!
