Installing the sims 4

I have had The Sims 4 for 2 days now and I am only on 29% on the first disk! I have had to use origin and it says it's downloading when all I want to do is install the game! I have tried all the suggestions on how to just install from disk like open my computer and click on the DVD icon of the sims or putting origin offline but it keeps saying I have to be online. Also I don't even have the internet so am having to use a neighbours!
Someone please suggest something if is this normal?

DId you try right-clicking on the DVD symbol and choose open end then click on setup.exe on the disc ? You'll still need to login to Origin but it should work in offline mode if the game is activated. After the installation you will need to go online again,
