Installed on a game drive in a new folder, but can't see a mods folder?

★★★ Newbie

So I recently uninstalled TS4 to restart my progress, install new mods, and move the game to an internal drive on my PC that's dedicated to games specifically. It installed fine but I'm not seeing my mods folder anywhere. I'm unsure if uninstalling again would help or if anyone else has had a similar issue.

@hulastitch  Your Mods folder is always in the user folder, as in, the Sims 4 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts.  In case it's really that simple, you do need to launch the game once to create the Sims 4 folder if it doesn't already exist.

Moving the location of the game's program files won't change the folder's location.  You can of course continue to use the current setup, adding mods and custom content to the user folder in its current location.  If you want to move that folder though, you'll need to either redirect Documents to the other drive, thereby moving everything inside it:

or use a symbolic link to point the game to where you want the user folder:

Moving the location of Documents is straightforward and supported by Windows, while the other approach is a bit more complicated.  In either case, please make a backup copy of the Sims 4 folder, or at least any files you want to keep within it, before proceeding.
