Installed Seasons and my indoor/outdoor basement pool has quit working EDIT: Pics may work now

Prior to Seasons, I built this house on a small lot and, to increase the size of the house without sacrificing the yard AND for the really cool effect, I build a basement that was larger than my house, built a swimming pool within the basement (1 tile in) and then built the ground floor smaller so the pool would be outdoors. I added picture windows the the basement/pool wall and - VOILA! - had a really cool house!

Now, swimming in the pool means my Sim sinks to the bottom and swims around there. So far, I'm having the direct my Sim to the stairs to get them out. I don't have this problem if the basement pool is indoors (meaning the ground level is large enough to incorporate the pool area indoors) and I don't have this issue if I build the pool on the 2nd floor, w/pic windows into the living area.

Don't know what EA did to break this ability but, with several houses built using this great technique, it would be terrific if you put it back to where it was. Used to be we could build a pool up to a basement wall but EA took that away. This seemed like a great alternative but now that seems to have been taken away too! Why?

Bumping this because I think the pics work now. I used "Edit" but that doesn't change the post in the queue.

Did you fix this problem?

I have a same problem.

I do format and reinstall window, I can't fix this problem.

Testing on only sims3 original & latest contents patch(1.57), still have a same problem.

I've searched a solution but cannot find.
