Installed Cottage Living Now I've No Sound.....

I had pre ordered Cottage Living off a legit 3rd party site and downloaded it and installed it, now my game has no sound at all and button presses seem to be laggy.

My rig is more than enough for it 

Ryzen 3600

Corsair 16GB 3200mhz RAM

XFX RX580 8GB

Game is a fresh install as is my Windows 10 other games work fine, it's also installed on my new Samsung 1TB Evo 870 SSD. Anyone else having issues after this new content

@Nakatomi_Uk  Please repair the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

If that doesn't help, please try a different sound device that uses a different type of output, e.g. headphones connected via jack vs. built-in speakers.

If that doesn't help either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.  Hit Windows key-R, enter "dxdiag" without quotes, let the scan finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply in this thread.
