Installation Help

Hey guys,

I purchased a Sims 3 Game used from the internet and when I attempt to download it, the code comes up as invalid. I'm imagining this means it's been used, and I've sent an email to the seller just to be certain. Does anyone know a way for me to install the game with this code, or else request or get a new one to properly install it?

As well as the Sims 3 original I also purchased the Sims Ambitions.

You'll be my god if you can help me out.
