Actually, I'm getting MORE of them!  I used to get the message once, when I launched the Launcher, now I get it three or four times during the Launch.

My game is fully updated and I've tried all the fixes.

I have been getting this script error "http://be.sponsorpay.com/assets/web_client.js" as well for several days now AND cannot load my game either.  When I pull up t he launcher I get multiple script errors and then when I click play the screen goes black & mouse turns into loading icon and that's it...not responding and doesn't load.  So frustrated!!!

It is now 24 February, and the sponsor pay error comes up every time I use the launcher.  The problem is therefore not fixed.  While it does go away when I click 'no' it is very annoying and on at least one occasion has caused the launcher to freeze.  Am not amused.

FYI: Am using Windows 7, Explorer 11, and my game is the most recent patch - 1.67.2.lots of other numbers.

What may also be some sort of launcher error is that it keeps telling me an update is available.  Problem is the update in question is for 1.22 and dated 5/31/11. So far, no problems, but hugely annoying, and needs refusal before am able to proceed further.

This forum has been going on for YEARS! I can not believe that this still a problem. I see people saying it was resolved but it is now 2015 and I am now having this issue... I don't know what is going on but this is ridiculous. It is making me super irritated. I did everything that was suggested. It doesn't matter. This needs to be fixed. I bought a gaming computer just to play this game. I am a loyal Sims player and the sims points ad is jacking up the launcher completely. I don't believe it will ever truly be fixed at this point. Supposedly it's been "fixed". So I don't even know what "fixed" means anymore. I feel like I need to become a computer and tech guru to play the sims about 85% of the time. The problems are never ending and I am losing patience quick. The error needs to be fixed. Period. I bought this game with my hard earned money and I should be able to play it without all the hassle. PLEASE... Someone fix this or someone please respond and help us really really understand why this problem is on going and not being resolved. This thread has been consistently being added to for years. There are 19 pages!! It's unacceptable and not right. Someone please help us for real. Thanks for reading...

Yeah I have been a loyal sims fan my whole life. I love the game, but I do NOT love EA. Ever since I started playing Sims 3 I always have problems. Sims 4 doesn't help either. I get this script error message too when I open my launcher. I just want to play sims! Is that too much to ask?!? Here's the link to my problem http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Sims-3-Script-Error-on-Launch-Menu/m-p/4376407

I am still getting multiple errors including that one.

Char: 0

Error: script error

Code: 0

URL: http://s.xp1.ru4.com/meta?_o=42032312&_t=sims3lauc

It occasionally gives me an error saying it can't connect to origin.

Re: [Info Request] Script Errors on the Launcher

I am getting the almost exact same problem as the person above. It says the same exact things, which when I first noticed it didn't ruin anything. I just pressed yes over and over again, and it still let me play. I played the sims 3 super natural by the way, and after playing for several hours I saved and quit, and when I came back to get on again, I repeated the same steps, but when it loaded it showed a black screen as if it was about to load the logo and stuff, but instead of loading it just closed on its self. It did this over and over, and each time I tried exiting out of the black screen I had to use task manager because it wouldn't let me out otherwise. Anyway, it had been giving me syntax error type things saying links to the problems like a link to something called sponser pay? I have been looking around and I haven't found a solution yet. I need help Frown

Me too, it seems that recently I've picked up two more.  Is there anything I can do to get rid of them?  I'm still able to play so I don't want to lose my families, but those popups are darned annoying!
