Thank you for the reply and the link.

 

Yes, it is just one save game but I only have one save game. I tried creating a brand new game and it loads fine. 

 

The first part of the solution seems only to work if you have backup saves, which I don't have (I know, silly me), and I can't get the second part of the solution to work at all (I can't get any households to load in order to allow the required time to pass in game, even using the steps suggested).

I can play again. no more Error 102

 

Just delet anything under C:\Users\"Your Name"\Documents\Electronic Arts

 

(all you saved data will gone)

I have no saved game to try this with because I uninstalled and reinstalled the game last night. I created a new household and moved them in. But when I tried to load the lot I still got the error.

 

FYI My game was working fine before this latest patch. Now I can't play with Sims I create or ones that are already in the game.

 

This is my error code  102:3468333997768226788:9023598546903272354

Unable to play the family I created

When I go to play the family I created it comes up with a message saying

The game failed to load - Error Code: 102:3625458756348648302:6235227779546014372 It is recommended that you relaunch the game.

Which I have done so many times & I have even uninstalled it & reinstalled & stlll have the same issue. This is the first problem I have had like this before.

 

Has anyone else had tis issue before?

@korikml Merged. Is it only a certain save game for you ? DId you delete any Sims ? Does one of your Sims have the beloved trait ? Please check first page for suggestions.

Those actions didn't work for me. A fresh install with no saved games and aging turned off also fails to load any lots.
