Infinate loading with Mods

Since the Pre-cottage living update I haven't been able to play any of my saves. It will just be infinitely loading. It's fine when I remove my CC but my sims have so much CC that permanently removing them is not really an option for me. 

I have noticed though through my task manager that the Sims 4 is now taking up about 60% of my 8gb ram when it wasn't before the update.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game
If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
