Hi.
So I think I messed up my game by installing an update whilst having cc.
I do not mind losing all my saved games by uninstalling, however I don't want to lose my Expansion packs.
My expansion packs were sent to me from my dads account, so they're counted as gifts. Will those still be saved to my account and able to reinstall if I uninstall the Sims 4?

If appears not. I have reinstalled and Expansions seem to save to your origin account.
All packs are still in my game after reinstalling.

You will not loose any of your Sims 4 files if you uninstall/reinstall Sims 4. This includes gifted Sims 4 packs.
However, if you're still unsure copy the Sims 4 folder to your desktop or a USB key. Your saved games, mods and custom content will be safe this way.
How to backup the Sims 4 folder:
- Go to the Electronic Arts folder [C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4]
- Right-click on the Sims 4 folder and select Copy, and Paste it to the desktop or to a USB key.
After you're finished with the uninstall. Log into Origin with your username and password that you used to register Sims 4 and it's packs with. Go to Game Library to find Sims 4. It should be ready to install with all it's purchased content.
