There's many threads where people ask if they can run the game.
Let's make one thread here where you can post your DxDiag and have them check.
If you want someone to have your computer specs checked, pleas post your Computer's DxDiag in here and subscribe to it so you get informed when there's an answer.
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/HOW-TO-DxDiag-for-Sims-3-PC-Only/td-p/1049584/
You can also check your graphic card through this link: http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html or this: *WIP* Supported Graphics Card List (The Sims 4 Edition)
Find the recommended card and find yours. The value should be higher.

You're CPU and Graphics card do fulfill mimimum requirements but since you only have an integrated chip and not a card, it may only be playable on low settings.
Did you try out the demo yet ? How does that work for you ?

You're graphic chip is below minium requirements and the drivers could do with an update.
Did you try if the demo works for you ?

The demo works. All of it. Even on hig settings.
But I have readed that the HD Graphics 4000 is better than the GMA X4500 somewhere... AHSea Why did I even pre-order the game even after making SURE EVERYTHING WORKS AND FITS!...

Sorry if I sound/look/seem to be very angry. Well, I am very angry.
Anyway, I looked at a page called www.systemrequirementslab.com and found out that the thing wich is wrong is the CPU/Proccessor. Is @ 1.90 GHz.
Is not the graphics, those are fine, its just the CPU. Apparently

Thank you, that's a relief. I finally finished downloading the demo this afternoon and it works perfectly, no hiccups at all. Now I'm really getting excited for the full game...

It's a conjunction. Since you only have a graphics chip, you need more CPU but since your chip only has 32 MB of dedicated memory instead of 128, that is also a problem.
Origin has the great game guarantuee if you wanna try the game before buying (well you buy and you can give it back if it doesn't work)
Good Luck
