I've installed Sims 3 Island Paradise, but it isn't in the game?!

So, I've recently reinstalled The Sims 3. Then, when I opened up the launcher, it said I had no expansion packs. But Origin says Island Paradise is installed?! Help!

I have seen this issue happen to a few other players in the past.

Best way to solve it is to completely uninstall both Sims 3 and the expansions, then clear Origin cache and then reinstall. If you wish to keep your game saves, make sure to back them up before uninstalling.
