I know that in build mode you can use the 9 and 0 keys to change the elevation of an object. When I try to use the 9 key, the camera angle zooms all the way out to the far corner of the lot, or sometimes not even on the lot at all. The 0 key works fine and the 9 key still elevates the object, but the camera I think is the problem. I don't know if it is a hot-key problem or a problem with the game itself. Please help!

This usually happens if you save a camera state by accident.

There's a folder called VideoCameraStates in your doc folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims4.

Just delete the content and it should be back to normal.
