I keep getting kicked back to world icons

I lost my saves when I updated to the new patch and added Eco Lifestyle. I made a new one and everything seemed fine but when I tried to play the game, it went to the neighborhood, I clicked on their residence and it kicked me back to the main page with all the world icons. I tried putting them in another world but it did the same thing. I'm not sure what to do. I only have one mod currently installed (MCCC) and I checked earlier today for duplicate CC and removed it.

Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test the game.

If it works now check for updates to your Mods and CC. Add it back a little at a time while testing until you have found all that are broken.
