I installed the Sims 3 Island Paradise expansion pack, but it doesn't launch

So, it happened some time ago, but my Sims 3 launcher doesn't locate(or see) my Island Paradise expansion pack. It does see other expansions packs, though. How can I fix this? I tried redownloading the expansion pack and the whole Sims 3 game and it didn't work.

@liutukasonyte  Try repairing your game in Origin: right-click on the Sims 3 icon in your game library and select Repair.  If that doesn't work, try clearing Origin's cache.  The next step would be uninstalling Origin "the hard way" and reinstalling.

If these steps don't help, it's possible that Island Paradise has been deactivated in your account.  This could be a mistake, but if you bought the pack through a third-party seller, it's possible you received a bad code, and EA has now blocked access.  The only way to find out whether this is the case, and to correct any mistake, is to contact EA customer support and ask about the status of your pack.
