I cannot play with my Sims or enter household.. [ Edited ]

I have Sunset Valley and Riverview and in both towns it is the same; I click on a family to either move in or play with and when I click on the check-mark it turns grey as if it is loading the house but nothing happens after that. The screen does not freeze, I can still click on things, and I can use Create Sims perfectly fine, the only thing I cannot do is enter the household. I do have some custom content installed but just some outfits and hairstyles, do I need to delete that stuff? Has anyone had this problem before? Please help!

Also, I can Edit a lot; residential or commercial through 'Edit Town'.

It worked! As long as I'm not logged in I can play normally. Thanks!

Good to hear.

Can you log back in once you chose a family and started playing or are there further issues ? You can login from your game options.
