CANT PLACE IN BUILD MODE

@xcheyenne_o3 i have tried to place stairs when building and cant. didn't get much farther than that. walls sort of worked but stairs? i cant even click the stairs i want. tried with and without mods

Hi puzzlezaddict!! Thank you, this worked for me. Quick question, do you know if we can put the Better Build/Buy mod back into the game after deleting the localthumbache.package? Or is it both that are creating the issue with placing objects in the build/buy mode?

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.72.28.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Just cats and dogs expansion pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just open build mode and try to place an object
What happens when the bug occurs? When I’m trying to finish my house I can only place walls and pools, everything else will not allow me to click on it and place it in the world. I’ve already checked if it was my mods that caused this but it’s not.
What do you expect to see? That I can actually place objects in the game.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

There’s no screens shots to be shown. As soon as you go into the game and try to build you should see the problem.

Since the new update I have not been able too
place objects in the world, in the configuration mode it does not work but in the inventory of the family I can put objects in the world.

My sims 4 won’t let me place my objects into the world - any objects including windows it won’t let me properly click on them

@kellygirl924  You'll need an updated version of Better Build/Buy.  Since the current version is dated two days ago, it should be fine, but test anyway to make sure.
