I can uninstall sims 4 without losing Expansion Packs?

Hi!

I have all the expansion packs that are currently, but I need to uninstall The Sims 4.

If I uninstall the game, I lose everything?
I'll have to buy the expansions again? mileysad:

The expansions are yours, don't worry.

And this to help you find your expansion when you are done installing:
All on the Sims 4 will go under one picture in the 'My games' tab in Origin, try this:
- Go to the 'my games' tab in Origin.
- Hover over your 'The Sims 4'.
You'll see a little screen come up with an 'i' and a 'play/download/install' button.
- Click on the 'i', you'll get a different screen.
- Scroll a bit down and you'll see your expansions and other stuff.

Hi. you help me so much! I was so worried that when I had to uninstall my Sims 4 I'd loose everything. Then,I seen this and I did the steps and it works! Thank you for putting this answer on here for this persons question.

I've found your answer!  I've uninstalled the sims 4 just to see if my packs would still be there, and they were! So don't you worry about loosing all the packs you spent hard earned money on. Your safe! - <33 Nikki

I have my game library but I click on that and I see my sims game and I hover over it and nothing come up what do I do on origin ????? And I don’t have my games just my game library

I have an origin account with Sims 4 including many of the expansion packs. I have to reset my mac therefore uninstalling everything sims 4 from my laptop. I'm very worried however I will not be able to reinstall sims onto my laptop after I uninstall  it. I have my saves backed up, but its more the actual games and expansion packs I'm worried about having to buy again once its deleted from my laptop.

If you click on the game and then scroll down you see a tab that says ‘extra content’ all your game packs are there.
