I can't start Sims 4

I had bought several packs for my sims4. I went into play yesterday. When I saw the new knitting pack add. I bought it before going on into the game. After than installed then when I try to go into the game is opens origin. I hit play on the sims 4 page. It goes all white like to load but then crashes back the to origin sims for page. After a system reboot yesterday I got to open sims 4 from the icon on my win 10  desktop page. Now today I am back to the crashing to origin again. I understand origin and win 10 so little that I don't know what to do.

@anne5440  Try disabling Origin in-game: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
