I can't seem to connect online-sims 4

This has been happening since I bought the game,whenever I try to connect online it never does.It just seems to load and load and say "attempting to connect".it never stopped.i have tried un-ticking the online box and re-ticking it but It never works.Any suggestions?Thanks

I am not quite the master, but I would suggest you reset your router! If it does not work then I would recommend contacting your ISP as I do not believe it is Sims fault that you are unable to connect to the game, your PC may also be located in a position where it is unable to get internet, check if your PC had internet on it as well!
