I can’t find my sims 4 save file on my old laptop’s hard drive

I can’t turn on my old laptop to get the save files and when I Plug in the hard drive from it to my new computer I can’t find the save file and I really don’t want to loose my sims because this would be the 3rd time I’ve lost my sims in sims 4 I’ve done everything and I’m not really tech savvy But I do know where my sims save file is and i can’t find it on the hard drive and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to turn on my old laptop. Please help I cannot lose my sims again sorry if it’s not enough detail or if this has already been answered...

By default the Saves folder will be in driveletter:\users\username\documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\

"driveletter" will be whatever Windows assigned to your old HDD when you connected it to your new PC.
