I can’t choose a option [ Edited ]

So my child sims asked her mum and before she asked her advise I picked up a picture that she had drawn on the activity table, now I am holding the picture I can’t save my game or pick an option. (This is with parenthood) I can move around and see the game but I just cannot choose. I need a answer ASAP because I can’t save and if I quit then I will loose all of the things I have done
