I can't access my households

Basically, I purchased the Sims4 Get To Work the day it came out. Everything was working great and the game itself was really fun. But ever since I've agreed to install two most recent updates on my game, I can't play my households. They're there but when I press play on the household, it brings me back to the world menu. And ever since the two updates, I get into my game and it says there's some missing data in the game and everything from Get To Work isn't there. The town, the clothes, pretty much everything. On April 2nd, this happened to me as well and somehow I managed to access my household anyway. But April 3rd, the game isn't letting me play which insults me because I've played this household for a while and it's really fun now thanks to the new expansion pack.

Please help me because I adore this game and wouldn't want to return it.
