How to recover my save files after update

We just got a new update for the sims 4 Spa day patch and I noticed that my mods kept turning off even after enabling it. I then decided to repair the game but in doing so all my save files were gone. I tried to add in my pre made save files from popular simmers like "lilsimsie" but in doing so, it doesn't pop up at all anymore. None of my save files do. I keep having to restart to see if it would come back in the game and it never does. I tried uninstalling game, taking the sims 4 saves folder out, and clearing cache. Nothing worked. Please help, I just want to be able to add in pre made save files again.

For the save can you check which folder the game uses: https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/

Did you have any luck finding out which folder the game uses ?
