How do I stop Sims 4 from crashing?

So I've had sims 4 for a while now, and before I never had any problems. recently sims 4 either won't open, instead crash right away or get the Sims 4 page when it opens and won't go past that. I've done the dxdiag.exe thing but it didn't have the 64 or 32-bit thing, but I still saved information like it told me to. then when I went to the EA help: my cases, I can't find a case or how to put a case in or anything like that. it was working fine one minute and now it's not working at all, and it's really frustrating me. I've uninstalled then installed it again, I've taken all the mods out to see if it was my mods but none of it is working. PLEASE HELP!
