Household Stuck on Loading Screen After Buying Stuff Packs

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? i don't know
What happens when the bug occurs? I bought the my first pet stuff pack, now when i try to play a household it won't load. It plays the loading music then the opening sound but the loading screen doesn't go away and it switches music,
What do you expect to see? i want it to open

I moved my mods folder out and it didn't fix anything. I repaired the game still no success.

@simulacra10  Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can load a new save.  Let me know either way.
