Horizontal Lines (Graphics Drivers are updated!)

Of course the intro works and it looks great- and then it gets to the menu and there's multiple horizontal lines across the screen and all the choices for the sim (anything that's clickable basically) that are pink, white and black.

I saw another question asking for help like this and the reply was to update their graphics drivers.
I found out how, did it, but it turned out my graphic driver is already updated to the most recent.
Any other solutions or advice?

Your graphics drivers are very dated and your computer looks very low in specs.

Can you play Sims 3 on that ?

Actually yes.
It starts out smooth, but there's the occasional times when playing where it becomes rather slow and I have to save and quit then start it up again to fix that.

Just base or with expansions ?

Try updateing the drivers as suggested above.
